FAQ’s About Scheduling A Session

Q: Can I self-schedule sessions?

A: Yes! To see my availability (the calendar shows the next 4 weeks of availability) use THIS LINK. It will take you to a secure portal where you will select the day and time that works best for you.

Q: Can a session be in person or virtual? How do I select a virtual session?

A: Yes! In the portal, all sessions are listed with my office's physical address. If you’d like to make the session virtual you will note that on your intake and consent paperwork. Sessions can be switched from in-person to virtual and back again without any problem. I’m in my office for all sessions regardless, so just send me a text or email to let me know if you’ve had a change in plans.

Q: Will I receive a confirmation? What is the process for completing intake and consent forms?

A: Yes! Once you’ve requested a session you will receive a confirmation email and a link to complete the intake paperwork and consent forms. These are all done on-line through a HIPAA compliant platform. You don’t need to print or scan anything! Please check your spam folder if you don’t see this email within 24 hours of making the request. It has a tendency to land there and the forms do need to be completed in full 48 prior to the session for it to be held.

Q: Will I receive a reminder?

A: Yes! Assuming you don’t opt out you will receive an email reminder 36 hours prior to our session and a text reminder 24 hours prior. These reminders contain the links for virtual sessions and also help you remember to cancel if necessary.

Q: Is the office easy to find? Is there parking?

A: Yes! If you’re coming to the office in person, please note that my building is high on the hill. Your map program may make it seem like you have arrived at the bottom of the hill. Look up for the big building with 2525 on the front. There’s plenty of parking up here, so no need to hike from the bottom of the hill. There are a few steps into the front door. If you need/want the ramp access to the building please let me know. There is a second-floor parking lot with a secure entry that will allow you to get to my office without needing stairs and I can provide you with those details.

Q: How can I contact you?

A: I can be reached via secure chat, email, phone, or text. Please remember that email and text are not secure and should only be used for scheduling purposes. If you would like to discuss clinical and personal information please use the secure messaging feature in the portal, or let me know and we can schedule a good time to talk on the phone.
